The efficiency improvement and the improvement of the management level of the enterprise have played a positive role and become the industry outlet under the mainstream trend of intelligent manufacturing.


In the manufacturing field, GGII divides AGV into production line AGV and storage AGV according to application scenarios. The two types of application scenarios have different core requirements for AGV manufacturers: In the production line scenario, focus on the positioning accuracy of AGV and the overall production. The coordination of the beats, the stability of the scheduling system, and the feasibility of data collection; in the storage scenario, attention is paid to high efficiency, the SKU capacity of the scheduling system, and the high reliability of the WMS. Different from the storage AGV use scenario, in the production line, AGV generally cooperates with special equipment, CNC machine tools, robots and other automated equipment to realize the functions of raw material, semi-finished or finished material transportation and transfer, and derives a compound robot (AGV + robot arm) , Can carry out mobile dynamic operations, and can be connected to the production management system of the enterprise, to realize the automated circulation operation of the production line logistics in the workshop.


From the perspective of AGV application distribution from 2017 to 2018, in terms of quantity, the express / e-commerce field is still the largest application field, followed by the automotive, 3C and other fields. The main difference is that there are large differences in the types of AGV used in different fields. Relatively speaking, the load and price of AGV products used in manufacturing production lines will be higher than AGV products used in express delivery / e-commerce warehousing.


In the long run, the demand for production lines in the manufacturing sector will be the main driving force for AGV. The main reasons are:


The manufacturing market is large enough and the ceiling is high enough;


Compared with other automation equipment, the manufacturing line transformation and introduction of AGV are more feasible and the effect of replacing people is more obvious;


GGII believes that in the future, the docking of production lines and storage will become closer and closer, including the docking of equipment, the docking of the network, and the docking of data.
